Summer 7: Make Your Own After Sun Spray!
Happy (official) first day of summer everyone!! I hope that you are all out enjoying the sun while it's out. I wanted to release a series of summer essentials that we could all greatly benefit from this summer. The series will be 7 days long which correlates with my Hawaii countdown! In 7 days, i'll be leaving to Hawaii for 2 weeks to enjoy fun in the sun and family time. I plan on bringing all of my homemade essentials along with me, so this series will also serve as a "What's in My Travel Bag".

I wanted to begin with this after sun spray that anybody could use whether you are leaving on vacation or staying home. It is the perfect thing to throw in your beach bag or keep at home for relief after!
What You'll Need:
4oz Spray Bottle
1/2 cup (a little less) Water
2 TB Organic Aloe Vera Gel (not the green stuff from the store)
10 Drops Lavender Essential Oil
10 Drops Peppermint Essential Oil
Instructions:
Combine aloe vera and essential oils directly into spray bottle.
Top off with water and shake to combine. Spray as needed after a day in the sun or whenever for a cool, refreshing feeling.
